Yes it is, I found this car for him about fifteen years ago, originally from the Seattle, WA area. Was completely intact except for the radiator, which I also found for him. Paint wise, and detail wise, it looks much better than when I last saw it at the Graham, WA show.

Do you need an NOS distributor for your car?

Unlike most Carter carburetors made for Chrysler(they were overwhelmingly a one year only carb), this one continued to be produced until at least 1977. It was obviously deemed a replacement carb for a lot of others. The same happened for the Carter 4640S, it became a replacement for most A/C...

That carb has definitely been monkeyed with, and by someone who thought it not important to save both the idle solenoid and the bracket, etc, that hold it to the carb. If you plan on using it the way it was originally intended, you need to find those parts for it.

They came on 69 and 70 Fury’s, and also 70 Barracuda’s. I may have some NOS ones, will have to look.

I think the stock options(which would be best in my opinion) are: Holley 4668, Carter 4966 or Carter 6125.
