Does anyone have a wagon? I'm still trying to figure out this weird angle iron mess under the tailgate and it isn't helped by the tailgate being stuck in place for now. I'm not sure if the drip panel welds to the top of the sill or sandwiches between the bottom of the sill and the top of the...

Still plugging away at getting the tub ready for paint. All the firm feel junk showed up finally. Super nice stuff, can't wait to slam it on.

Yeah just the first result in canada. Nascar Road racer for sale in Vernon, Bc, Price: $11,500 here's one more local. As funny as dailying a tripodding late model would be, I'd want the coupe cage anyway. Ways off anyhow

Good thing too, I've decided on my next project. I was talking with a buddy that did late model racing a while ago, and he showed me how cheap used late model circle track cars are. Incredibly fast machines with top dollar motors that can outcorner supercars on road courses, and used, these...

Tacked the quarter together with everything properly located. Tomorrow I'll drop the tub and do it all up final and then do the prep and paint for final install. Feels like i've been about to install the tub for a while now, but it seems we're finally ready. Hopefully the floor just goes...

Got the tub fitting much better. Though strangely the top door jam to tub brace only partially lines up, and I'm not sure why. Though every other mating surface lines up exactly, and i drilled some pilot/screw holes to ensure it can go back in exactly where I want it. Frankly I'm pretty...

Yeah that's what everyone's telling me. Already using zinc weld through. I'll see if I can paint up to 1" surrounding the weld seam without burning up. Might fill this cavity with wax if it doesnt' weigh too much.

That's certainly why you'd do it after. But if it does fit well before, doing it after is just introducing a terrible weakness for further rusting in the future.

More test fitting. Got all the quarter pieces playing nice with each other. (Glad i double checked, you could see my initial cut with the tape there.) Not sure if i should weld this in before or after final fit of the tub. If I do it after the tub is in, it'll be more accurate and fit the tub...

No but I've heard nothing but good things about them, and i like that they look like the stock 906 heads. price is good too.

It'd better be. I have a plan to ensure it. Still saving my pennies for it though. Already threw the firmfeel catologue at it, which should be all arriving this week. Had to spring for that junk early since i'll have the suspension apart anyway.

Got the tub fitting really well. I have to grind down some bits on the new rocker/quarter area but other than that we're on track there. The new lower quarter will need some serious trimming though. Remarkable how much the fury and polara stampings differ. Gonna patch this too. Needs...

What did you use for the floor patch?

Informative day here. Test fit the tub. It'll take some fighting later, but it fit roughly into place very well. Gotta get the last of the quarter grafted on with it in place and then i'll prep it for final install. Secondly, took the trim off the left side. It appears the 1966 body...
