1967 New Yorker 2 door, looking for some general info..

So, yesterday a nice 1967 New Yorker caught my eye. Numbers matching with buildsheet, fendertag. As a fuselage owner I know nothing about 67´s. And would like to know a bit more about these cars. Are these models rare, desired? How many where built? Is drivebility the same or worse then 69's...

    Front hub dust cap sizes?

For drum-brake cars, were there 2 different hub sizes? 1 9/16 and 1 13/16 (1.6" and 1.8") ? At some point in the past year I bought a couple of Dorman 13976 front-hub dust caps. I later discovered that they don't fit - they're too small. At the time, the part was a Dorman 13967, but...

New top installed on the 70 300 Vert

As far as quality @Legendary Auto Interiors is one of the best. Have both the top and the boot on my 69 300 convertible. Glass breakage is usually caused by items left in the well liner or in the trunk. Here are a couple of photos.

    1978 New Yorker build thread

It's been a year and I have a BIG update. The New Yorker is junk! With the severity of the rust, other problems from sitting, and not being able to get a title, I'm parting it out. At the start of the summer I completely stripped it and am storing all the parts. I've already sold some stuff...

Loving life! 2 years since my 67 Imperial GM full-size Disc Brake upgrade!

Cool now we know , what did they do in 1970 to 1973? Maybe I could have just bolted on the 1970 brakes , can’t believe I did not try that, I thought I tried everything possible!

And more... When the car started cutting out after some steep climbs, i took the exit off the highway , a few more minutes after constant stumbling it finally died - luckily next to a bowling alley and restaurant, so had a nice lunch. A few hours later got it towed. 6 hours after vapor...
