I was once told to use separate lines for each air shock so right-side load and change, would not affect the left side and vice versa. Any truth to this?

The load of the vehicle is designed to be supported by the springs, and spring perches, not the shock mount. Transferring the vehicle load to the shock mount is not the intended purpose of the upper shock mount. I would correct the issue with new springs. My .02 cents.

I've seen this happen. One more reason to clean the threads, and use some anti seize on the adjusters.

Torsion bar adjusters located bottom of the lower control arm. Typically one or two full turns to get a reaction. I removed mine and cleaned and applied some anti seize. Take the weight off the suspension as stated above.

Typically I will take the front seat out for these jobs.

I had issues with my brake pedal, having too much play and not engaging quick enough. I adjusted the push rod to have approx 3/32" preload when tightening the MC. Seems to work as it should with minimum free play in the pedal, maybe 3/16" total.

I had similar issue a while back on front drums. If I remember correctly, I swapped out the new off-shore brake hoses, for some OEM hoses. I also swapped out the new off-shore brake cylinders for OEM.
