I am going to put dual exhaust on my 66 Newport next week. I would like to have a nice sound, but do not want an excessive amount of sound in the car. Any suggestions on which mufflers to go with or which ones to stay away from? The Newport has the original 383 with a 2 barrel.:tiphat:

Took the 66 out for a drive. Stock 383 with 2bbl. It was running fine. We decided to get on the freeway and cruise to the next town. As I accelerated, all of a sudden it backfired and blew a hole in the muffler. The car was running fine prior to that. Now when it runs it acts like it is not...
