Hello, I had to replace the passenger door on my 1971 300 2dr and all I could find nearby was a nice 71 door from a New Yorker. My car has factory p/w and the NY has crank windows so obviously I need to swap out the regulators. I figured now would be the time to replace the plastic guides and pieces since they are 50+ years old. And also the felt/weatherstrip that goes into one of the guide channels.

Anybody have experience with these? Is there any source to get these parts? I don't have a parts book yet (going to purchase one off Ebay asap) but I figure somebody else has already been through this.

I've attached pictures of what I'm looking for. Thanks.

From the photos it looks like your plastic guides are ok. As long as there is no considerable wear they should work fine. If you want new parts, you might look into CR Lawrence, I was able to find replacement guides for a '73 model (different style). Otherwise, not sure if these are available new. The parts book probably has the regulator as a complete assembly, not individual components.

For the felt, you can purchase bulk cat whisker or mohair fabric from various sources and recover your channel. I would suggest cleaning your existing felt first with simple green and a toothbrush and lost of water. you will be surprised how it looks and feels when you remove 50 years of encrusted dirt and silt from the nap - it might be ok.
