Very nice 1971 Plymouth Fury III 2-Door Hardtop:
http://prescott.craigslist.org/cto/4861773889.html

The Hardtop shape, and no vinyl top to boot. Beautiful, really shows the fantastic lines. Original paint car, "Gold Leaf Metallic"? Guessing as no pic of the fender tag, but from the 1971 brochure it would seem likely what the colour is.

Pity AC has been removed, but owner has all the bits. 'Tis a daily driver with new parts.

Stroke that 360, and you have a mean machine. Has some upholstery issues, but what a nice vehicle. Really like those body colour steels too. Hmmm, can't help but think about this one...

Lots of sunburn, so a full interior replacement is mandatory. A little body work and a repaint. Oh, and the A/C replaced! What, $14K in this one, in the end?

Man, if this were a '69, even though it's NOT a Sport Fury like I want, I'd be on this one.

Bit of elbow grease on that original survivor paint, seat covers, wind down the window, then....cruise listening to the "Degeullo" album by ZZ Top.

sorry Pat,

I totally disagree.
Leave it as it is and drive it.
It will be great driver, I love the original paint and untouched condition.
I discussed it with a good friend lately if needed fix the drivers seat to sit more comfortable but I would leave it alone.
It could be a lot of fun and still keep its value, too. But most of all: Due to its condition it can be really used without worrying at all.

I don't get the AC thing. Of course germany isn't as hot as a lot of places in the US. I refuse any kind of AC in my cars. I even don't use it in my girl friends new Mercedes. I prefer the good old 4/60 method. Four windows down going 60mph.

Agree with you on this one , Carsten leave as it is drive and enjoy my couch in my living rooms worse than that front seat and it doesn't bother me lol:yaayy:

I'd like to see something heftier than a 360 under that long hood for asking $3900 bucks, but push come to shove I'd take it. A few cosmetic fixes for the road and a nice driver there. Lots of friends would be made with that at gas stations, supermarket parking lots, car washes, shows, etc.

That car has the cleanest valance panels I've seen in a long time on what looks like a survivor...normally they're beat up badly.

it depends on the job you want to give a car.

The golden Fury is good as a REAL daily driver while the turquoise one is a nice weather toy and not be used to park in Walmarts first row while shopping

I would REAL-ly daily driver either one of these cars. I don't think Aidan plans to daily drive the gold one as is so for what he is going to do I would think the turqoise one would be a quicker and cheaper car in the long run. And by I think you .. I mean Aidan

He does like the gold but my own bias is I love turquoise. Don't know how you feel though Aidan Just my .02

sure the FQ5 Fury is better on the long run if you want a very "nice" car.
From my experience the nice ones are usally not really used as dailys (the hard way)

I wonder why he took the A/C parts off if it worked? Makes no sense here in Arizona.
