A piece of Benton County History. This vehicle was used by Sheriff Jerry Phifer in the 70's. It was the very first patrol car bought by Benton County. Previously, officers had to use their own cars.

Looks like they were cleaning overgrowth out of the yard for the first time in 40 years and they uncovered this forgotten cruiser.
 
One man's "junk". Another man's "history". Another man's "jewel in the rough". It would restore, but not very cost-effectively, I suspect. Getting the body restored would be the easy part, I suspect. Obviously used as a parts car, later on. One thing about it, no power window motors to replace, power seat cables, or power lock solenoids.

One expensive Certified speedometer and cop steering box.
Both will have to be refurbished.


Well you do get a 440. Which will have to be refurbished.

Hate on me as you wish, but I'd much rather see this unibody/vin swapped with a clean Fury sedan than some clowny-*** backyard conversion of a 4drhtp NY'er.

Exception...VIN swap is useless without a matching title...

And no ATC, so those hours of frustration can instead be spent at the emergency room getting your tetanus shots updated. :)
