1977 Plymouth Fury 2-Door - Straight 6, 3 on the Tree

Although I far prefer the 4-Door version of this car, the stripper feel of it is appealing, and in particular those 3 pedals of course. Donor for a '75 Roadrunner?

Crap colour, but guess you can't have it all. Bet this has no AC too.

Rare car these days?

Actually, can just make out the heater controls in the pic, pretty sure no AC?

Also, found this statement in the advert a little odd, what's the story here??

"Please note: address given is where we will meet, at the Berrien Springs, Oronoko Police Dept. My friend the Chief of Police says that it is a designated safe spot."

What gives, Ted Nugent country or something?? Bloody hell....lol

what is sticking out of the top of the left quarter? looks like an odd shape for an antenna mount

Often wondered is it possible to graft that entire front clip onto a '71 - '74 Satellite body, and adding the '75 - '78 Fury (or Coronet/Monaco) sedan rear bumper too. I have a sick mind lol. Certainly the '74 Satellite 2-door model would have the telescoping shock-absorber system for the rear bumper (first year of the US 5-mph rear bumper standard), so it should bolt on no worries.

The only thorny issue I imagine is the front edge of the doors, the front fenders of the '75 - '78 Fury are shaped differently at the door seam I think...

Something like this? Sharp...

Holly cow! This one could make me eat my words.

I like it just the way it is, if it wasn't a 77 I might seriously think about it.
Nothing newer than 75 for me, don't want to deal with smog checks.

Thanks, fortunately no smog checks here. 400 with 70' Road Runner exhaust, electronic Ignition. Factory 9 1/4 3:23 limited slip rear. A 68' 440 HP engine swap is SOOOOOO close to reality. I'm running it with a 67'383 two barrel for the summer,,,,, but after that?(I hated that TQ carb)

The two previous posts were some fine pieces as well, these 70's cars are under appreciated I think.

Nothing personal but I was referring to the 77 Fury in the original posting, never cared for the front end treatment on the one you posted.

That's how intelligent people do it.

Or meet up Bobby style...

Note: The belts of ammo don't appear to be 7.62mm.

Rare car, we had some of those as test vehicles at NPG where the manual transmissions were made.
