It has a leaking freeze plug, the dash is cracked, and one slight tear in the vinyl upholstry, and few options, but what ended my interest is that it doesn't have the hidden headlights that the Gran Coupes have. That would be a must for me. He said he heard that late in production the hidden headlights were optional on the Fury III, but I have seen no documentation of that (and the same comment shows up on Wikipedia, with citation needed). Seems like a decent car with some work needed like draining and cleaning the fuel system and going through the brakes, afterwhich it could be a nice driver for someone it seems at a reasonable price.

Despite how the ad was written, he as a nice guy to talk with and was just trying to protect himself from an onslaught of Craigslist jerks wanting to buy it for a couple hundred $$.

I have never seen this car before and I live in Olathe. He must keep it in Springhill or something.

Anyway. Interesting to see a mopar so close to home pop up on here.

You'd be surprised how many are local to you that you've never put an eyeball on

True. I've just never seen it before.

There is a huge yearly car show just an hour south of here. Last year had 2000 registered cars. It was the 30th anniversary also. My classic car came down and shot a 5 minute scene with some cars.

D G is an arrogant, obnoxious, pompous ***, I can't stand him or the show.

I don't care too much for the show. It was just cool to see that car show on a "famous" show.

I like this car a lot and I don't typically like '72s.

On a separate note, what's the deal on the '72-'73 C-pillars/rear side windows across all makes? That's always the first thing I notice on a '72 C-body. Like how a '73 nova is basically the same rear sheet metal as a '72 but with this obnoxious window cutout and a more upright C-pillar. Was that a thing people thought they needed? Regulatory? What gives?
