Hey Folks.
Gotta jog some memories for the older guys like me? I have a buncha NOS Appliance wheel lug nuts .. the ones for THESE kinda wheels .. and some washers.
I dont recall using them after 1980 (i had the top/middle row "Wire-Mags") .. just going with regular old shanked aftermarket lugs when I got back into these wheels in the 90's after they were long outta production.
Anybody recall how this type of lug nut works? Also the washers?. I believe it is a straightforward as it appears.
The lug nut assemblies (I have a 100 of these) has a screw-in piece PLUS an offset washer. The egular round washer goes between the cap piece and the screw-in piece. Also, I believe sizing is 7/16 GM but I gotta measure that.
Some of the washers are offset .. probably for Uni-Lug wheels (round bolt facing/oval bolt hole). I do NOT recall what the lug nut looked like but it HAS to be flat bottom and shanked yes? i have about 40 these washers
Again, anybody around in the 70's/early 80's, and experience with these old Appliance/Western wheels and their goofy lug nuts please advise.
Thanks.
