I have 2 videos of this car running after a cold start and sitting for about 3 months. I can text them to anyone interested or if someone can tell me an easy way to post them, other than on FB that would be great.

Such a beautiful example of a formal roof Sport Fury. I was very impressed with it when I saw it at Carlisle a few yeas ago. GLWTS.

I'm not really a Fury guy unless it happens to a 67-68 Fury III or Sport Fury. Yours is a really nice looking 2 dr. Fury. My father had a 67 III in red with a black vinyl top and engine unknown to me but it did have a console with the interior lights in it. I remember how they made an impression on me when I was 13 and that was the first car in the family where I took over control of washing and detailing.

I do think the formal roof 2dr. looks better that the fast top 2dr. now that I have seen a good example.

If the vid is on YouTube just post the url.

if not on YouTube upload to YouTube or rumble then post url here.

Video of car running immediately after a cold start after not being started for 3 months. Temperature was in the low 50's and the exhaust had a good amount of condensation in it.

Video of car running after a cold start and kicking down the high idle and of small rust spot below the vinyl top lower trim:

You did it

Car sounds good!

Wow Bill, I did not at all see this coming but I know the bucket list car is gonna be VERY WELL worth it in the end though when it is done. I really hope you get your asking price or close to it, it is WELL represented especially here. Best of luck with the sale! Let us know if it sells.

Any hints?
What is it?

I can't speak for the lucky owner and a friend of mine of the car, but the only hint I can give you is its another big car

What it is, is obviously a surprise. JUST have to wait and find out

Hello Bill, I have a 67 III & would love to know the specs on your wheel/tire combo if you could provide them. Thanks in advance!

I hate seeing when this crack happens, out of the 4 1968 Furys I owned I remember cracking just 1. I was just in to much of a hurry and hadn't settled all the dash parts right and tightened that screw just above it a little too tight. No worries I had several *MINT* spares back then... :D

They all crack in that same spot, mine is cracked and has NEVER been apart and was garaged or covered when not on the road.

My God!! If I did not have two girls in college right now, I would take the next train and come and get this right away! If you can sit on it for me for two years I would be happy to come and take it off your hands for whatever you want for it! LOL Here’s a picture of my current dilemma!

It was cracked when I bought the car back in '98 and the dash bezel otherwise was very nice so I decided not to change it.
