NOT MINE - I don't know anything about it other than what I read in the ad. Looks decent in pictures. Be interesting to see if it really is a 6,000 mile car. Don't know why seller says its ready for restoration. if it only has 6K miles. Car is 1. 5 hours away from me. About an hour north of Seattle.

I would want to know why a 6k car has at least one repaint on it already, note failing clear coat on hood and trunk lid. Replacement A/C compressor, valve covers are peeling and the incorrect color. IMHO this is not a 6k car. It is well preserved 106k but the story is probably is probably bogus, sounds like a flipper.

Needs an in person inspection to verify the mileage claim. If it is correct it wasn't stored very well. The whole car has had a repaint and the valve covers look like they are the wrong color. I'm skeptical.
Guess we were posting at the same time Dave.

Rad yoke and grill stiffener bracket are a different colour, engine bay is way too dirty, AC comp isn't even hooked up, and the dash bezels are yellowed - no way that's a 6k miles car. 106k yes.

With the rad yoke and AC questions I suspect the car was in a frontal collision.

Lots of stuff indicates106,000 miles more likely. Re-paint was base coat/clear coat, and not well done.

I also don't believe the 6K miles. You will be the second owner as we didn't transfer the title yet. I can tell you that if I ever sell a car I am informing the CA DMV immediately and start the 10 day clock.

6K, my ***. For the above reasons, plus worn silver trim on the dash areas, everything about the engine bay, torn DS seat edge, weathered/worn door and trunk rubbers...106K car, at best; 206K car, at worst. Looks like the hood ornament took a walk, too. The seller is certainly full of his own delusions/lies. He's asking $7K...I'd go $3,000. Maybe.

Headliner is hanging down... Wrong radiator cap, MC is rusted over, condenser is beat to ****.. trunk liner has rust, jacking sticker is peeled off... Wrong wheel caps/rims.

List goes on

Somebody should make him an offer of about $1.5k. It would be worth about $2.5k but the phony story results in a major deduct. The A/C is also disconnected so that will be a major PIA to get operational again.

Numbers seem to line up real nice...

But let me get the crystal ball out, it says "6,297.2 mile ago the malfunctioning speedometer was replace with a NOS unit".

Seller mab'be on the 'Moonshine' as the overflow tube looks to be left over part from one of his many stills!

Despite it's flaws, I really like it. Assuming it's 106K and rust free, I'd go $4K if I had the funds to burn on it.

Its been for sale for over a year. If I remember an earlier ad it is an estate sale situation.
