I'm taking the front door panels off of my 66 Newport 2 door in order to replace the cat whiskers, make some adjustments to the glass alignment, lubricate the window regulator and door locks, replace the armrest bases and replace the cracked/missing window crank spacers. While I have it all apart, is there anything I could/should do with the wing window mechanism? I notice that I can the turn the crank 1.5 to 2 times before the window starts to move, and on one side the crank feels real "tight" while I turn it, at first, then it gets a bit easier.

Looking for some tips/suggestions . . . thanks.

I used a graphite based spray lube around 20 years ago when I had my interior apart and everything still works great. Great looking ride.
