so, would you guys say that ANY (RELATIVELY rust free) 70 Fury 2 door (non formal top) Furys out there (particularly big block cars) are pretty hard to find these days? curious about convertibles too? thanks.
Let me ask you, in your nearly a year on FCBO, how many have you seen in rust free original condition? How many are complete basket cases? That's the answer.

This one is nice, a great start and desirable colors. If you want it, fight for the high bid then make a deal. What ever the price ends up to be it will still be worth the additional $$ to transport it to NC, IMHOP.

Ok, I'll take that as "hard to find" thanks.

He is asking 7900$ withOUT the wheels and tires....

Personally,,, there are better cars to be had at much better price......

Incorrect dash..
Needs top...
Needs A/C work...
Needs speedo cable...
Motor is not all original
Needs paint....

Could be the camera angle but the front seat seems to be tilted back which almost always means floor pans need work.

My 66 looked great from underneath complete with unmolested factory undercoating. Pulled the seats to replace the carpet and...

That rear window Frame could have a few more surprises than the Little hole that is mentioned.

Look at the rust at the bottom of the passenger door hinge in the 6th photo. It is awfully rusty for being in CA - I would guess that is not where it stayed all it's life. Also, what is that thing hanging down in front of the speedometer? A button for something? You can also see rust on the inside of the bottom of the rear window. I always wonder when you see cars in this state if the owner ran into something really expensive to fix and then tries to pass it on as a "project car." My other favorites are "barn find" and "I'm selling for a friend..."

"For sale is a very nice 1970 Fury III... I removed the side trim and purchased parts to turn this into a Sport Fury."

I don't understand why he would do this when there are so many Sport Fury III's for sale out there...
