Well I've been working diligently in my barn the last few days. I have a loft in in the barn and set of 4'wide stairs . These stairs were inside of the "auto" section of the barn. Costing me 4'X 12' or so of much needed real-estate. Soooo a couple buddies came Over and we ripped the stairs down ! I am relocating them to the back of the barn inside the office which doesn't get used much.

Here's my progress so far. Heres a couple before shots.

Here's a couple of afters. I've moved the center bench to the back wall and add to it.

I've also added a shelf against the side wall and have a 34"X80" peice of solid wood that's is going we're you see the small red cart. Well I'm headed back out there to hopefully finish up today!!

My neighbor recently gave me this mobility scooter hoist, it's got a 200lbs limit so can't pick up anything terribly heavy but with the way my back is I figured I could put it to use!!

Nice! Moving those stairs are going to make a big difference.

I have a section of pool noodle that goes on my jack handle. It protects the car if the handle should hit it.

Handy stuff.

A HUGE difference Matt!! The way it was, one bay for parking/light work on fury or shorter vehicles and one bay for longer/heavier work on vehicles. Now I can do pretty much anything to the fury on the bench side and still have room for a full sized truck/van on the other side.
Well, I don't see a lift so... Phhhhtttttt.
lol.
That is a sore spot Stan! I will have to re-engineer the loft's engineered truss. It's a center loft with 7' of dead space from the exterior walls inward. It definitely wasn't built for a car guy!
I can answer that. Much, much worse.
...... And cable and phone and gas.... But I'm not bragging!

Nice barn.

I install a urinal in all of my garages ... As soon as I empty a 5 gal bucket
Nice!!!I've used large funnels inside, buried in the ground outside before ! Unfortunately the toilet is damn near in the middle of the barn and I don't have the want to bust up the concrete and move it. So the office and the toilet stay.....for now!

Actually a pool noodle might work well to wrap the toilet seat with !! That thing is cold as I don't know what all the time! Between the trees and the slab of concrete it's always 10+ degrees colder in here.

Nice work, with the weather getting warmer I need to go out and clean the junk out of my garage
