Oh thats gorgeous.... I'd even like to have that and its not green.....wow

Whats it bringing guys?

I see a lot of rust that's painted over. Since the rear bumper is rusted through with holes.....what condition is the rest of the car in?

That rust through is due entirely to condensation from the exhaust. It's Calgary, a 72, and never driven long distances. That bumper didn't have a prayer.
Other than a 5 - 7 hundred dollar rear bumper, I am very hard pressed to see anything to turn me off about the car.
Look at the engine bay. No rust. Look at the door jamb. No rust. Look at a close up of even the rear bumper. No freckles. Look at the driver's seat. No rips.

If he shows close-ups like that, he's pretty confidant it will stand up to an in-person inspection.

This car is a rare opportunity I'm willing to bet. I can feel it in my bones.
So much so, this car won't make it to the end of the auction. He'll pull it because someone local will make him an offer that he can't refuse. You never see all the good bargains make it to the end.

500 to 700 as well for a front bumper, someone drilled holes in it for fog lights,or are they for bumperettes?

1. I have an extra rear bumper from a 72 that Glenn gave me when I bought the yellow car. Anybody here buys this car can have it.

2. I agree 100%.

3. Yep, I just did. J/K...... ;)

Wow, what a beautiful car. I now have 2 3/4 complete white leather interiors that I will trade even up for that 1.

No surprise that I found the interior to be the least appealing part of this car. The black cloth and vinyl (or is it leather?) combo looks surprisingly plain for an Imp, more like it ought to be in a Pontiac. The white leather would look gorgeous in this.

Yea, no surprise...

The repaint would be my major turnoff. Judging by the overspray along the rocker panels/ A-pillars etc. I'd say this was a once over respray on the immidiate outside with most if not all trim left on the car. Would'nt buy it without personally inspecting it.

Greg, as usual your sentiments echo mine .......

Gesswein steps up big once again. Those boys know how to find cars.

I've seen some cars on their website for years. They buy super low, detail the daylights out of them, and advertise very high.
