Hi there, I'm a new bee here. Im looking to trade my 1972 Dodge Charger SE for a 1970 Fury III convertible. the car is from what i can see in decent shape... it is painted Lemon Twist yellow. Im looking to find out how many of the 1,952 were painted yellow?? I see other models that were that color but no luck on the convertible....any help will be helpful, thanks...

Welcome..... You found us..... Lucky guy.

Looks like at least one got that color...... It would be tough to find out how many others....

There is only two guys that I know of that would know that answer and one visits this board sometimes. It took me ten years to get polara information out of him. Those numbers are out there in Chrysler paper work and reports........ Kevin?

Could you post a picture or two (or many) of your car?

Yes!! Welcome aboard. Glad you're wanting to be another caretaker of a c-body. You'll find it far more rewarding.

Just don't get too hung up on the 1 out of xxx numbers thing with c-bodies. You are driven by heart, not by numbers with these cars.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! As far as I know the best guess would only be based on speculation of what percent of cars were painted each individual color, nothing based on solid documentation. If those records ever existed they don't anymore. Ma Mopar did better then GM but not as good as Ford.

Only the first few. Joey has a pretty good spam filter and the inconvenience the first couple of times is worth it.

It works great. Every once in awhile I'll look at the results at the bottom of the page. Amazing how much junk it filters out.
