    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

The scheduled production date is the first three digits of the V.O.N. (414). The first digit is the month; the second and third digits are the day of the month. I assumed it was built in '71 for the '72 model year, but I could be wrong.

    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

The picture's becoming clearer and I'm gaining knowledge as well. I incorrectly assumed the term "Road Wheel" meant something fancier than a black painted steel wheel. Regarding the "Covers or Delete" code 01, the paragraph above from the book says ".... used to designate the optional wheel...

I attached pictures of Line 12 and a section of the book I reference in post #1.

    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

Thanks for the info.; my build date was 4/14/71. So, I have 15x5.5" black painted steel wheels with standard (dog-dish) aluminum caps. Any thoughts on Line 12 "WH/COV": "Covers or Delete" = 01 (no code 01 listed in the book for 1969-1974), "Road Wheels" = 93 (no code 93 listed in the book for 1972).

    Which Wheel Covers Are Correct?

    - '72 Dodge Polara 4-dr. sedan. - Currently has 15x5.5" black steel wheels and Dodge "redline" aluminum poverty caps. - Broadcast Sheet is correct for the car; "H SERIES 1972"; Build date 4/14/71 (414 = first 3 digits of V.O.N.; "CANADIAN SPEC" at the bottom. - I verified some codes (in bold)...

    Front Bench Seat Bottom "Firmer"?

You said the seat back can be separated from the seat bottom. I didn't see anything in the Body Service Manual on how to do it.

    Front Bench Seat Bottom "Firmer"?

My '72 Polara 4-dr. front bench seat bottom needs some additional support. I feel like I'm sitting in the seat instead of on the seat. The car has 19k miles, which I believe is original based on the condition and history. The interior is in excellent original condition also. 1) Can the seat be...

    Broadcast Sheet Question

My B.S. is "H Series 1972" and Line 1 has the letter "C" in the U-C-I box that's part of the "Y Vehicle Del. and Handling Y" section. The letter "C" at the top and "CANADIAN SPEC." at the bottom would be two indications of final country destination. Would the letter "C" on the third line of the...

    Broadcast Sheet Question

Thanks. That explains why I needed three forms filled out by Customs & Border Protection when I imported it. They only checked the box "Vehicle is 25 years or older" on the forms. I also needed the forms to register it with my local DMV. The vehicle has the Evaporation Control System (charcoal...

    Broadcast Sheet Question

My '72 Polara was built at the Newark, DE plant and exported to Canada. The Broadcast Sheet has "01 or 91 CANADIAN SPEC" at the bottom. Can someone tell me what that "SPEC" is or what it consisted of? Thanks.

    Welcome, 72DL41

The '62 ad was moved to the "Non C-Body Stuff For Sale" forum. I revised the '62 ad on the B-Bodies Only site and reduced the price to $23k or best offer.
