Hi, everyone,
Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this year's show. I'm having major brain surgery (ring and valve job, or a reasonable facsimile thereof), so it will take some time for me to recover. Hopefully, I'll be there next year.

Hi, friends,
Sorry that I can't attend this year. My wife's daughter is expecting her first child, so my wife and I will be in Calfornia at that time. I hope to see you in 2024, and have a great show this year!
I do use a GPS since I become lost nearly anywhere. However, I want the speedometer repaired so that I may use the Auto Pilot. My concern is driving the car with the cable exposed.
Not since I purchased the car in November 2021. I do not know the previous history. An earlier owner installed a tachometer on the car, which seems strange.

While the speedometer is out, I will use my...
Yes; Saginaw for 1964-65 Mopar tilt wheels. I hope to find one via a Mopar source, as I have been derided by GM owners in the past. You're correct; however. It's likely that I will need to take that risk.
Yes; I have the shop manual. My problem is that since I have no way to lift the vehicle or borrow a lift, I need to find a method to crawl beneath the vehicle without damaging either myself or the car (or find someone else who is not as fat as I am). I'm hoping that the cable connection is...
I owned that Newport nearly 50 years ago, so all I recall is that when the parking brake stuck, I reached beneath the left fron fender to pull on the cable. That did release the brake.
On my recently-purchased 1964 Imperial LeBaron, I made the idiotic mistake of engaging the parking brake prior to checking its condition (on my Imperial Crown the parking brake is fully functional). Of course, the brake now remains on (the vacuum release works correctly). Does anyone know if...
