    Torson differential

The Strange unit doesn’t do it at all, it feels like a conventional clutch type limited slip when under power.

    Torson differential

I have a Strange S-trac in my street/strip ‘68 Fury with a Dana 60 and am happy with it, it’s a torsen style diff with a more drag oriented bias ratio. The regular torsens are different with bias so they can work well on roadcourses too, but on moderate hp rwd stuff I could feel them alternating...

I need tips for installing transmission cooler lines...

Try the Dorman help section at your local auto parts store - I bought a 5/8" hole size boot that fit the pitman on my '68 perfectly.

Other fuel pump options for '57 Dodge 325 Poly

I’m not sure if my uncle just got a bad one, but he has that modified pump on a ‘58 300D with a 392 that we just got running recently and when the engine warms up I hear a tapping noise that clearly is from the fuel pump where it’s contacting the eccentric.

    Mickey Thompson 440 valve covers

It’s been decades but I thought my ‘67 Imperial had a factory push on breather like that, it connected to the dirty side of the air cleaner assembly.

    Pulling seized engine

Quick question, did you have to remove the hood? I pulled my engine and trans separate, and left the hood on, but needed the intake off to give some extra clearance to the hood and to get over the core support with the accessories on and the taller oil pan. I also left the trans crossmember in...

Steve Magnante Looks At A Black 1968 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Agree, I don't think he is correct. I owned a '68 300 for a few years and it had power drums.

PLYMOUTH SPORT FURY 383 TICKING :( HELP PLEASE

The side to side play is normal. The shaft wears on the underside where they contact the rocker arm, and the rocker arm wears there as well. Does any single valve have more lash than the others when the lifters are bled down?

    Budget 440 headers

The Hooker C body headers fit really well on my ‘68 Fury, they don’t touch anything and plug access is still super easy. They might be lower than stock, but they weren’t as low as my oil pan so I never thought much of it. I am swapping to a set of slightly larger 1 7/8 primary TTI’s when my...

    Crutchfield Radio.

Not sure if it's a better or worse solution, but I wired in a bluetooth amp to speakers on the package tray and a dual channel center front speaker as well. There is a little control unit that I hid on the floor, and I can adjust volume from there or my phone itself. If you want to listen to...

    67 Imperial dasboard question

Awesome, thanks. So 2 different light sensors depending on the option.

    67 Imperial dasboard question

Were they all that size on '67's or did it change at some point during production? I had a '67 and instead of that piece, mine was a much smaller and rounder black dial/knob over in the left corner of the dash next to the windshield. Or was that knob not for auto dimming on mine?

What are you working on today??

Pulled the engine/trans out of my ‘68 over the last couple days. Trans is getting rebuilt with hardened intput/output shafts, a new ATI converter, and a Griner trans brake. Gotta beef it up for the 540 going in. Found a ton of little issues on disassembly like a leaky p/s box and the insulation...

The new motor is is done. Whaddya think?

Awesome build. 600 ft-lbs at 3000 rpm is going to be ridiculous. You could get away with a powerglide with a torque curve like that!

    EFI fuel system

I checked a B body sending unit in my C tank. It's close but not quite the same, you might have to tweak the angle on the float arm and where the pump is very, very slightly, but you should be able to get it to work. Good luck!
