Come to find out, figured it out today, the plastic piece that holds the points spring and the 2 wires, condenser and coil, together cracked and points were moving on the plate, irratic spark. Replaced points and condenser, back on the road!

I’m thinking I’m going to have to change the valve cover on that side, mine has the plug wire bracket, I don’t think will clear the manifold. I had HP’s on my first 68, they were on it when I got. I had to get the HP plugs wires for my other 300, is that you’re running on yours?
Went ahead and bought one of these, more then I wanted to pay but these seem to be harder to find than the left side! A summer exhaust project coming up. Thanks for the tips!
