I own 1967 Dodge Monaco Station Wagon, importer from the Texas to here in the Scottish Borders, SCOTLAND, UK. Before that it spent some time in Monrana, but I don’t know anything more about it and have no history for it at all. It was brought in by specialist American Car Dealer - Gordon Glen of Kingdom Kustoms, Bunrntisksnd, Fife.
It’s a 383 with 2 barrel, laker side pipes & cherry bombs, slightly lowered, ‘patina’. It’s in Turbine Bronze. I plan to maintain & improve it, but don’t have the money or inclination to make it back into a concours original.
I am currently running to assess general mechanical requirements over and above into initial all fluids and spark plugs change.
I own a small pub in Kelso, Scottish Borders ‘Rutherfords Micropub’ and was lucky enough to meet a really nice retired Canadian guy that had been an engineer for 25 years on the assembly lines for Dodge during the time when my car was built - Mel Finkbeiner, he also had some NASCAR involvement, quite a coincidence!!
