Well update, during the cleaning and swapping the under belling, the front plug was found to corroded through and a hole in the side. Hole may have increased in size due to the scapper/screw driver I was using to clean. Guess that makes the decision easier and long.
We replaced the radiator when we bought the car. Noticed some dripping coolant when cleaning it. Think it is blowback from a loose drain screw.
