Hi I'm a new member with an interest in these old Chryslers especially the later Newports and New Yorkers. I also collect older British cars and have a number of MGBs both roadsters and GTs, a TR7, Ford Capri II and a TVR. I have also had a number of older AMC sedans including a mint 1969 Rambler American 440, 78' AMX and a 66' Ambassador 990. I like older unmolested survivor cars and for the most part all of my vehicles are unmodified with the exception of my 73' MGB-GT which has an injected Camaro engine and 5 speed. I currently have a 1977 Chrysler Newport pillar-less hardtop coupe for sale on bringatrailer.com which is open for bidding. It is all original with 78,000 KMs (Canadian spec). If your interested, please check out the site. One of your members recommended your site and I will be checking the site out more regularly. If the car does not meet reserve I will be keeping it and I wonder if anyone can suggest a more modern well and rim combo to fill out the wheel wells; any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers!
