    planning on doing what you just said related to changing the exhaust manifolds. Picked up a set of 67 c body manifolds. Visual they discharge very close to the LB manifolds.

    Interesting topic. I have the same leak same location on my 400 LB Newport. I’ve acquired 67 c body manifolds to replace the existing manifolds in my 1977 Newport and run duals My leak is very small at this present time.
