Don't know who all would be interested but Pick-n-Pull in Tacoma Wa has a 1972 Newport for picking over. Went there today and grabbed a few items for myself. Rear pumpkin has been pulled, no radiator, fan or ps setup. Does have a 440, trans and surprisingly a front disc brake setup still up...
For what it is worth- The old man use to have a '68 Sports Suburban station wagon. 383 4 bbl. Air cleaner was an unrestricted job, like RR air cleaner cover but larger with a 2" gap around the base. Never seen another one like it so I'm glad I kept it. This isn't the unit but it is similiar.
Nice! My first car was a '69 Fury I in white. Paid $275 for it in 1980. Needless to say the before picture brought back some memories. Love the after pictures. Looks nice.
That's funny. I was just going to tell you that I had a similar problem with an '85 chrysler and it was the pickup in the distributor. Guess I should get here earlier next time. ;-)
Don't know if anyone in the N.W. is interested in this rig but I found her on CL. While a little rough I thought someone could give her a good home...
