The 10th Edition of the 1966-1968 Galen White Books has more detailed C Body production numbers than the earlier versions. Pretty sure Galen got his numbers from the Ward's numbers Trev mentioned earlier. That is based off of percentage of sales, so the numbers may be off by a few.
There are a lot of red flags. Saying "PM Me" on every response. Shipping only. No detail at all on his info page. Probably in Africa collecting deposits.
Galen's white book says there were 20 1967 Polara 500 L Code 440HP 4-speed cars built, that includes all body styles. He doesn't have the body style breakdown in 1967 like he does in 1968. So that would include 4 doors, 2 door hardtops, and convertibles. That rear end was 1967-68 C Body 440...
Had a blast but dear god it was hot. I only lasted about an hour on Saturday looking at cars. I don't know how you East Coast guys handle the humidity.
I never thought a Hardtop 4 speed car would get that much but the black one sold at Mecum 2024 for $70k, before fees. There is a four speed convertible currently on eBay for $50k. I'd rather have the convertible...
