    69-71 300 front turn signal bezel ?

Thanks guys. Ceebuddy- yeah that’s them. I ended up grinding the cracks wider and used short-strand glass to fix them. The broken off section I reinforced on the back side with 1/2” wire mesh. It cam out good enough and plenty strong. See the pictures. Rubatoguy- my car is not restored.. so I...

    69-71 300 front turn signal bezel ?

Mines a 300. So the lights are in the “closures”. That’s what the service manual calls them. I’m told it’s the same plastic material as shaker bubbles, etc. I’m going to see what I can do to plastic weld, reinforce, and repair it. This is no show car. Just needs to look decent.

    69-71 300 front turn signal bezel ?

Curious what the front turn signal bezels are made of, and how you might have repaired them. Looks like fiberglass, feels like metal, but flexible? Plastic? Metal? Any ideas?

Overall they are in decent shape. Not perfect but usable and include the wood side trim PCs. Asking...

Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

First, it’s your car. If you are not concerned with reselling price, do it the way you want to. That being said- if you do consider actual resrll value- keep it original. Imperials owners are sticklers for originality, and will take off money for non factory regardless of how perfect it is...

WANTED TRW Model 0.96 steering pump

I think it’s because the early ones use a filter in the return line nipple. So it’s like a 1/2” id hose instead of 3/8”. You could probably run the bigger hose and a worm gear type clamp and it would seal. But it’s not “right”.
