Mechanically they are so close it’s almost a non factor IMO. Styling wise, look for what appeals to you the most. I personally like the “glasses” that are on the ‘65. Either one would be a win. Keep us posted and post pics. Good luck.

I believe the slant six and small block V8s were called “patrol” while the big blocks were called “pursuit” in the factory literature.

Any exhaust shop that does custom exhaust work would be able to make you a pipe and install it.

Just eliminate it with a section of pipe. Engine will breathe much better.
