Hard to tell the difference between the Schlitz and rusty radiator coolant! Last time I tried Schlitz it had a blue hue! Can't beat Miller High Life!

I feel your pain! Had the same problem with my 65 SF. Put in new weatherstripping and replaced the window guide. Have nice polished chrome trim for both sides but never installed because of the same problem your having. Final solution, adjust as good as possible and then when putting down...

May be getting leakage of brake fluid on the pads which burns off after a few stops! Had this problem with my 65.

As mentioned, brakes and turn signals go through the switch in the steering column. Could be a short in the steering column/switch! Pull the steering wheel and check. Not an uncommon problem. I had twice, replaced the switch, problem solved!
