    Options for 69

I have been tinkering with a 69 newport and I see that it has a different booster and master assembly than my 300. My 300 Is a dual diaphragm style while the newp in a single. Can anyone shed some light on this? Maybe there is a heavy duty version?

    Holley 7855

I have found that people are tribal about carburators. They like what they understand the most. I have also found that they all pretty much work fine. The primary issue I have seen is the overall condition. Many can be warped. This seems to be from continued retightening. Many heat cycles of...

NOT MINE '73 New Yorker FLA

Well if you work on these a bit you will be able to see a plethora of parts on that car. First thing I see is that the windshield looks like it might be good. I'll pay $350 every day for one but I would pay $500 today. Has a 440 that might turn and the last 73 New Yorker had a factory steel...

Chinese 4 barrel for the win!

My nephew has bought a bunch of Chinese carbs for his small engine projects including a couple we did for motorcycles. Base material can be soft. They have all worked but the components were all crap. All orings swell up when exposed to gas. Floats were often cheap plastic. I rebuilt a 1405 a...
