    Failed nos ignition points

Much time wasted today and only discovered the problem after I ran out of daylight so I will continue in a week.. But to the point, I bought a set of NOS points Chrysler brand. New cap and rotor. No spark. A bunch of back and forth and swaping on the old cap and rotor. Finally removed the new...

    Mopar electronic conversion epic fail.

Are you using the same coil for both systems? Have you verified that the coil you are using is of the correct resistance? I made my own electronic ignition using an oem distributor and a gm hei internal module mounted on the core support. Super cheap and readily available. Its an option but...

    69 power steering reservoir cap

Confirmed to be a Federal. Found some old threads with details. Strangely every site I have checked shows the Saginaw for 69 and I have found several guys on here, B bodies and moparts looking for 69 Federal caps. Looks like the same era Ford Federal can be had for less than 12 bucks. But the...

    69 power steering reservoir cap

I found a thread with photos of the Federal and the TRW so I should be able to confirm. Lares and Autozone say type 297 which is Saginaw but I think it should be 293

    69 power steering reservoir cap

Can someone point me in the direction of the correct reservoir cap for a 69 Newport. I ordered one by application and it is not correct. Thanks in advance.

NOT MINE Definitely not mine, but I can dream - 300 Hurst convertible

I briefly talked to the owner about the car a couple of months ago. He was more than willing to discuss the details and was a very pleasant person. It's not my place to share but my take is he is very willing to talk to perspective buyers and has made it known that he would sell or trade the car...

NOT MINE 1972 Dodge monaco sport coupe R/T $4,500

Oh yea the RT Monny I'd be snagging on that baby. Price is high for no drive train. reminds me of my old AAR Monaco I had in 84. If it was close I would be obligated to try to drag it home. I'd call it Skullet.

    finding my old 1968 chrysler

There are some services that will search for the. I think one is called muscle car finders. Just seen a video last week where a guy was looking for his dad's mustang and it had been with another owner 20 years. He was able to make contact and they agreed to sell. He was in Missouri and the car...

    Thread for Craigslist morons

Not that bad for a 14k mile car. Should get 10-12k pretty easy.

NOT MINE 1969 Newport Coupe in Indiana

The rear corner trim is not in place. Maybe a 3rd party vanilla top install? Was definitely a thing. I've seen several non factory ones. Even on pickups. Beautiful Newp Custom in that color

    Carb crisis?

I has a similar problem with my AFB on a chevy which is now reoccurring. I noticed that the fuel was draining back down the line through the pump do you a faulty check probably from trash on the seat. I think this was leading to low fuel pressure at idle. But had no hiway performance issues A...

    Newport hood latch lever

Answering my own question as best I can for posterity. I removed this assembly and could find no sign of bastardization or modification. I just don't know. Maybe someone was able to heat and bend it without leaving a trace. Possibly for added security as it was a royal pain to pop the hood...
