    Fender Data Plate Help

From Copilot-the Microsoft AI. So, take it with a grain of salt. The naked red engine fits the requirements of an engine for delivery in Canada. Short Answer: Between 1964 and 1968, Canada did not mandate its own factory-installed emissions controls on automobiles. Canadian cars followed...

    Fender Data Plate Help

It would be helpful to several of us if you would send me a picture of your '66 wagon's fender tag for decoding. Wagons have some special options. VIN would help but not critical. Possibly starts with CH45J63. Report is always free.

    Fender Data Plate Help

Thanks for posting the pix of the beautiful blue car, its VIN and fender tags, and for stimulating dialog from several of my fellow students of the tags. Attached is a report including analysis of the VIN and Fender Tags. Regarding the "Built in USA for delivery in Canada" discussions: The VIN...

    C-Body Police Cars Thread

I'm following and awaiting these great pictures to be sorted by brand, year, model, state & date. Names, ranks and serial numbers of the people in the pix.AI may be able to do that soon. I have a number of pix that you might enjoy. How is the best way to send them? Perhaps on a flash drive?

    NOT MINE 1966 monaco FB

I could use a picture of this car's fender tag--to help develop & test my free decoder. First seven of the VIN would help.

I am collecting data for '67-'68 tags but cannot produce a report yet. Thank you for the shot of the rare cop car plate. It does look like a '67 New Yorker 4DHT. Fit for the Chief , Sheriff or under cover?? Do you have a picture of the rest of the tag? Which code is for power locks? I think...

I would like a shot at decoding your three '66's. I learn from each one, especially wagons. Legible pix of the Fender Tags and, at least, first seven characters of the VIN. N/C to anyone, ever. Do you have window stickers, Production Broadcast or IBM cards for any of these?

Good eye, Mr. Wooldridge. Thank you for your kind words. I did view the radio, saw the big AM numbers and missed the smaller FM numbers across the bottom. Probably was /is a factory AM FM radio. The blob of black paint under the "R" could just as well be a "3" for 423-AM FM radio. Makes...

Attached is a draft decode report, based on what I can read or guess on the fender tag. Others with insights into decoding 1966 fender tag codes are encouraged to help this struggling student. Does the car have seat belts or any indication it ever did? Have you ever searched for a Production...

Great! Very interesting and well loaded NP Please lightly sand or Scotchbrite the numbers so the numbers and letters can be read. I would like to know if LH or both seats are powered. Is that a power antenna? Interesting to see a black painted fender tag on a white car..or, is that not black...

Offer of a free fender tag still graciously open. Until then, look for a"2" under the "H" to signify Order Code452-Power Locks. A rare option on Chryslers, especially Newports. Please shoot me a picture of the fender tag--should be interesting.

Can I have some 63 880 custom assistance?

Dunno about M4, but pretty sure the 4 under the TRM 584 is grey--the color of the seats. May be black from photo. the 8 is for an undefined HD police/taxi grade cloth and vinyl seat cover. The 5 is for Dodge Custom 880 grade seat covers.

Can I have some 63 880 custom assistance?

I'm working on decoding this car's fender tag. Many of the options are the same as used for Chryslers and Imperials assembled at the Jefferson Ave Knowing it is a police car, there are unique 3-digit order codes for police items such as special seats-more firm, stronger covers; and other...
