I'm at the SPMF show this weekend in Bristow, Oklahoma. Friday is pretty much a GTG, along with a poker run. My car made the trip effortlessly. It was roughly 80 miles one-way. Saturday is the car show, swap meet and street racing on a 1/8-mile stretch of the old Rt 66. The WiFi here is slow, so I'll post pics Saturday evening from home

Cars came in from OK, TX, KS, IA, AR, LA, CO, NE, TN, IL, IN and even FL and Winnipeg, MB! The Canadians drove theirs 27 hours!

The A100 truck was an insane build! There were nearly 100 cars present. The vast majority of cars were driven, NOT trailered in. TWO Petty Blue Superbirds and an Alpine White one. Four C-bodies (two of those were wagons!) and my Imperial. This is a three-day event you've gotta go to next year!

Several of these cars are original-owner! The green '69 Dart GTS 340, '79 Chrysler 300 and '74 Dart Sport are just three of perhaps a dozen or so.(not including the metrics, which don't trip my trigger at all, frankly!)

love the last 2 pics:

1979 300 and the 1967 Valiant ?

The Valiant as it is the most bare bones exterior you can get.

Always was fond of the 79 300 but they were on dealer lots forever.
The grille, fender louvers, ornaments below the QTR window, and wheelcovers were all nice touches
along with medallions on the dash, tail lights and the steering wheel. And the faux
engine turned dash and console faceplates too.

It is a 225 w/3-speed on the floor. Says the car had just two options - AM and heater. Very base car with a warmed over 225. Sweet little Valiant!

The '79 300 is one of several original-owner cars that appeared at SPMF.
