NOT MINE 1970 Polara convertible

Asking $750 but it’s likely not coming out in one piece…

Thank you. Thanks too @70 Sport Suburban and @71Polara383 we now know that this is DL27L0D148934 -- unless @polara71 tells me otherwise, this 1970 Polara convertible was previously unknown. I have posted the tag in the Last Convertibles thread.

Form the ad: "(...) selling as a parts car. It's in some woods in Pinckney MI. I got it in a deal with some another car. This is one of 842 convertibles made in 1970. This one is pretty much junk. The rear-end is broke lose the trunk floor is separated from the quarters. It's been sitting for more than 30 years the way it is. There's definitely some good part left on it. Make me an offer on the hole car or if someone needs parts let me know. It's down a pretty steep hill in some woods. We have it cleared out to get to it. A 4 wheel drive tow truck could grab it."

That's a lot of money for a set of taillights, a dash cluster and a stuck 383.

That is a parts car I wish I knew about 20 years ago when working on Nessie. Back then the windshield and dash pad may have been salvageable. Sad.

The guy dragged it back to his shop. Took what he thought was salvageable. Sold some stuff and scrapped the car.

That sucks. I'm sure more was thrown away than needed to be. That's the life of a parts car, in parts.

Just found that, while the car is gone, some parts are still for sale. From the ad:

"I parted out a 1970 convertible. The car is gone to the scrap yard. I just had parts I have the windshield frame too with all the chrome that's nice. The chrome that goes around the top didn't come off well but i still have it Front bumper is pretty nice Nice set of taillights in the housing. The passenger side has some small cracks. I have the side markers the drivers side is missing the lends the passenger side is there. I'll split them if needed. Grills are ok. They both have one mounting bolt broken The gage cluster is untested and some of the prongs for the plug are broken so it will need repaired. Hood hinges work great a little rusty but not bad The back seal isn't the best. Make offer. The top of the hood is nice the bottom is rotten but the trim is nice and the dodge is there. Make offer. Fowlerville MI. Everything is make an offer and take it home."

The rear seat may not be in great shape, but it is specific to 1969-1970 'verts and may be worth it to someone. @Samplingman @71Polara383
