Ah, thanks. I typically just look at the year and ignore the rest of the titles LOL

NOT MINE 1969 Chrysler Newport 2 DR HT $15,400 Listed 3 weeks ago3 weeks ago in La Jolla, CA

That's a real sweet-heart of a car; what's the price? I can't access Facebook from here. I hope the buyer keeps the wheels and tires; they suit it so well. Please no more road wheels or mags! :BangHead:

    NOT MINE '68 VIP.

That's what I find kind of neat about it, actually! It's like my '73 in that it has no real creature comforts, and gets by just looking fancy. Plus, there's less to go wrong and have to fix. Top-line cars with few options and bottom-tier cars that are loaded are kind of fun for the same...

NOT MINE 1972 Chrysler Newport Custom - Trade - Harrison, AR

Wow, that's pretty! The white top looks to be in great shape, which is no small feat!

NOT MINE 1970 polara 37k miles -not mine-

Ugh, putting lame aftermarket wheels on a low-mileage car; I don't know why people do it. There's a lot more credibility to be had in leaving the original wheels/tires to highlight a "babied" or at least "all original" look. Plus, as many know by now, I'm tired of mags/white letters on...

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Wagon - $12,500 - Huntsville, AL

I suppose if it needed exhaust anyway, but that's a pretty deluxe system when a factory-style system would have worked just as well and saved some coin for other jobs.

NOT MINE 1970 Dodge Polara Wagon - $12,500 - Huntsville, AL

All of that effort/money into exhaust while leaving the body and interior looking rough; I'll never understand some people's priorities.

    Freeway Rumblers

LOL I'm the opposite, I love everything about them EXCEPT that :). Seeing that "when new" pic of the Newport would make me lust to get it back to that state; it's so classy!

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth Fury 3 4DR HT Canadian $13,750

Looks like it's going to float away, like in the old Mickey Mouse cartoons where they over-inflate the tires

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury III 2-dr 318 $22k CAD / $16k USD Kitchener Ontario

LOL no hate, just jealousy :). Jealous for a lot of other reasons, too, when you look at Canada's justice system, but that's another story...

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury III 2-dr 318 $22k CAD / $16k USD Kitchener Ontario

I guess, in Florida, you can afford to DD a car like that ^_^.

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury III 2-dr 318 $22k CAD / $16k USD Kitchener Ontario

They don't look right to me; everything was very "linear" in the seat fabric, not "granny's front mat" shaped like these ones.
  13. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury III 2-dr 318 $22k CAD / $16k USD Kitchener Ontario

That's a cool car, but it seems steep for a 318 painted in an incorrect colour.

NOT MINE 1971 Plymouth Fury 3 4DR HT Canadian $13,750

The tires look too massive; that's a disadvantage of blackwalls, I know, but I wonder what size they are; 235/75?
  15. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1978 CHRYSLER NEW YORKER BROUGHAM Canadian Auction

That's a killer colour combination! Very subtle for the '70s; it reminds me more of what you'd see on a late '80s or early '90s luxury car, trying to look more European.
  16. Turbo301

NOT MINE 1972 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe

It's more unique stock; back in the day when there were many stock ones, mags would have looked unique, but now the few that are left seem to always end-up with mags and white letters. It's also nice to see how cars were when they were new, as a reflection of the driving and tastes of the time.

NOT MINE 1972 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe

Wow, is that ever sharp! Nice colours, and the paisley top is probably the perfect period option. Hopefully whoever gets it keeps it nice... and stock... please no mags and white letters on this one!

    is this joke?

It's a lot of hassle to part-out a car, or really to sell anything on Marketplace or Kijiji, so I get why he'd just dump the whole thing. If buyers weren't a-holes, with "Is this still available?" and persistent ghosting, it'd make sellers' lives much easier!

    is this joke?

I guess I'm naive, but what scam could this be?
