CATL 2024: C-bodies At The Lake on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024 ("hub-and-spoke" to the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, IN)

I wish to thank everyone who participated in this year's CATL. It was great to meet members in person. Overall, it went pretty smoothly. The Studebaker Museum was an excellent choice of venue. Due to its size its a pretty tall order to see it all in one day. For those who appreciate the origins...

1965 Imperial - Auto-Pilot Linkage part and More...

That's interesting, I thought for sure it would go on the other end. The only other reference I had was the guy's on eBay I was looking at (seen in earlier post on this thread) ...he said his came off a '65 Imperial and it was shown connected on the other end than where yours is. I guess it must...

    I never heard of it a S/27

The S/27 is not a real car. It, like 69CoronetRT said is something that someone wanted it to be. Almost like a “what if” type thing. I saw it at Carlisle last year and met the owner who is a very nice gentleman. I think I do remember him saying that he was going to sell the car….

    SOLD 1970 Plymouth Fury 3 PM23G

I have an 1970 Plymouth Fury 3 parts car for sale for $1400 lots of good parts left, since it is an 318 car there is no point on restoring it in my opinion. The Fury is parked since 1985, the windshield is in great condition. I also have another 70 4 door sport fury parts car with a good 383 and...

Transmission leaking when car is jacked up from front

There is a somewhat flexible seal that the driveshaft slip yoke slides in and out of. Insude the tail housing is also a bronze bushing the slip yoke turns in. When the bushing wears, the outer seal wears, too, and leaks as a result. Usually, there's not much need for lube in the tailshaft...

Canadian 1960 Forward Look cars. The differences from the US cars.

Canadian '60 DeSotos used the Chrysler interior. At the National DeSoto Club convention in Chatham, Ontario last year, we got to see a number of Canadian DeSotos (quite a few '60s included) alongside their US counterparts and compare differences. On the '59, Canada filled in some of the rear...

    Wheel Bearing & Seal Numbers

I can confirm that all the part numbers I posted above are correct for the rear of a 1962. Got the passenger side done and almost the driver side. Have to check it when I get it back together because I think there is way to much end play in the wheel bearings. Might be why they got loud.
