    72 Newport/front sway bar

I am going to put new shocks on the front before I make any other changes. Bushings are good. Have Bilstein shocks for the front. Needs a Pittman arm and then I will check the alignment. On my old Polara police torsion bars made a world of difference.

tried changing the ign switch, didnt work. Im thinking now Im getting feedback from the new alternator. The car will now shut off after about 2-5 min. Found this a Painless wire alternator diode for feedback. Should come in next week so ill install that next

WANTED Left front wheel hub - 11x3 drum brakes

Dan, if you're still looking for a hub, I have one from a 64 New Yorker, 11X3" drums. This is left hand drum, but I have both. Good thing I never drove this car, no cotter pin in spindle. Lee

    72 Newport/front sway bar

Well, if that's the case you're going to have to cough up some decent dough one way or the other. You mentioned not liking the boaty feeling, perhaps a set of performance shocks may do the trick?

NOT MINE 1970 Plymouth Fury ii 2dr Coupe (Tan now black, L-code now 440)

Ah, now you're sprecken my linguidey. If that's correct, that's a whole lotta dyeing. In person would be easy to tell. My Polara has at least two different blacks in its all black interior. One has a bit of metallic to it, the other doesn't.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

It does.Just trying to decide between a larger bar or bigger torsion bars. That may be the best answer.

    72 Newport/front sway bar

If you search this forum there have been many creative solutions over the years. One of the most interesting I can recall was a member who used ball joint links from an off road company I believe, with the stock bar. Your '72 Newport would have had one from the factory, is it missing?

I think the pattern may be stock, but the color is not -- P4TT means it ought to be tan / brown, not black.
