Looking great. Car covers would help some towards protecting them.

    Upper ball joints

I actually had one rotate itself back out of the arm. It was very strange. I retightened it (no air tools involved), and gave it several 1/4" welds, and it never caused me any grief again. Run that thing up tight and fire up the welder!

Techniques to remove the underbody protection?

I've done this from underneath, the car the jackstands. Best way I found after trying several things; as mentioned multiple times in prior posts... propane torch with a small flame or safer choice heat gun. It doesn't take much heat if its smoking its too hot. Wave the heat across the area you...

    New garage for the C's..

The Boab has developed 2 spots of bubbling..left side below rear window, and above left rear fender skirt. Nothing I can do about that as rain water drains in these areas. You all know the car was prepped to death, epoxied primed and all that but rust never sleeps.

    New garage for the C's..

Frankie was painted in the late 80's/ early 90's when base/ clear technology was in its infancy. When we bought him some of the clear was peeling. Not as obvious 5 years ago, but now worse than ever..

    New garage for the C's..

Meanwhile the cars are anxiously waiting. They are taking a beating 24/7 from being outside.. Maple trees are not kind to vinyl tops... Grace's older white vinyl top, and the Boab's black top.

The Big Bluebowski - 1971 Polara

Car looks good! You can feel the exhaust output at idle to see if it might be a burnt valve causing the shaking. Enjoy! CBODY67

    Vinyl Top "Conditioner"

Sometimes you have to do some homework to justify what is more cost effective. If a headlamp assembly is 24.00, the time and cost of " restoring" a headlamp is not justified. Sure if the headlamp is in the hundred$$, gamble the money on a resto kit and hope for the best. Speaking from...

    72 Newport/front sway bar

With the rear bar, it will increase oversteer tendencies, but enough to counter the existing understeer, so the result is a more-neutral handing vehicle, but still with a bias toward understeer. Understeer due to the heaviest part of the car being on the front, so tire slip angles from loading...

Will it not glue back on? There MIGHT be a Chrysler part number for it, but on the replacement boosters I bought 40 years ago, it was on it. Might check with Booster _______ at www.powerbrakebooster.com ? Just some thoguhts, CBODY67
