Wrong brake booster? Holes dont line up

I know the vacuum has an affect on how much pressure a booster can muster. Luckily I found out enough to decide on what I needed for components for my needs. I find it alarming how much mis-matching parts can effect the final outcome. It is no wonder why there are so many threads on brake...

    NOT MINE 1962 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Hardtop, 75K miles - Project - $4,200 - Fredericksburg, VA

I wonder how well that 518 works with pushbutton controls. Or maybe it's not installed. But if it is, and it all works OK, someone made a serious upgrade to this car. But listing is deleted by author, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Door glass guides for 1971 polara 4 door?

I’ve been trying to locate a replacement for these plastic guides. 1971 polara 4 door. Most of them are damaged and ordered some e body ones to see if they would work but they’re too big. Anybody have a suggestion or am I stuck with floppy windows? Here are some pics with what is factory...

NOT MINE WTH! 60K 1969 Dodge Coronet 4dr sedan

Looking at the tops of the front seats, they have been sculpted somewhat, presumably when the seats were recovered and cloth inserts put in. I'd not really seen the interior details of a 500, but this looks like a car to behold in person. $15k might be reasonable to someone that wants such a...

Check out Boss Katana amp. Few hundred bucks and you won’t need any pedals. I have the 100 watt version.

I bought the Avid 48x24 with a 4hp spindle. UPS brought it in about 50 boxes and it took me a few days to assemble. I’ve used it quite a bit now and love it.

Which power steering box for 67 Chrysler from rockauto?

I had heard the Jeep reference somewhere (maybe from you?) and I looked at Jeep gearboxes on RockAuto. Didn't find one that looked the same as the target box. Agreed for all of that on the capacity requirements on a gearbox. The taller wheels/tires on modern vehicles, even though alum rims...

You always take beautiful photos of your cars with a great background that always remind me of print advertising from that era.

No, don't know anything about him. I knew a little about Tom Denkler and was able to learn that he had passed. That's why I was hoping you'd have his name in records or somethign. I would if I could, I've never met him, don't know his name nor #. There is a local repair shop that I've seen his...

Which power steering box for 67 Chrysler from rockauto?

I don't know that I've ever heard of a "name of origin" given to the Chrysler power steering gearboxes in the past, just that it was unique to Chrysler products. It is my understanding that the Borgeson gearboxes are 2000s-era Jeep gearboxes, which have the "modern feel" (with less slop) than...

    Autotemp 2 .help needed

Yes, it is missing on your car. The Auto Temp will not function correctly and control temperature properly without it. It should hang off the passenger side strut and both heater hoses and 3 vacuum lines go to it. I think they messed it up during the propane conversion because the "soup" can...

I play a few 3 cord sets my mom taught me yet I have 2 acoustical and one Electric that I set up and haven't played. I think I need a pedal or two for some reverb and delay. I bought the darned thing because of the color. It is B5 and matches my Swinger. LOL

Can anyone expain this USPS package delivery route?

Well I don't know the routing of UPS, but since they have the postal contract now, sounds about right. FedEx did have the postal contract for many years. FedEx utilized it's airplanes during the day to move the mail, and since they fly to so many more destinations that UPS, they would fly the...

Which power steering box for 67 Chrysler from rockauto?

Back when I was digging into this, it appears they are Delphi units, although I never found a modern OEM version that matched the C-body version. I found similar ones, but different mounting and/or different valving. And none had that curved end at the bottom of the housing. Only ones I found to...

Wheels won't fit over new disc hub?!

We are staying on subject, the wrong part# could've been shipped and/or wrong part in the box. Until root cause is found, all potential causes must be investigated. But yes, probably got mis-machined, perhaps it got the C-body bearing race machining ops, but got the Ford wheel register ops.
