@boom.operator, this car was at the 2022 BBTR edition and the owner also wanted to come this year, but it didn't work out. Hope to have both cars at BBTR #10 next year.

I do the same thing, using old springs for cam break in, however you don't have to remove the heads to change springs. You can pressurize the cylinders with air and change the springs with the heads still on the engine. It will save you a bunch of work.

Would you just need to add a booster and matching master cylinder to get the power brake option up and running ?

The FSM doesn't mention using a drain pan as the engine is running during the adjustment, but you'll need one and some good degreaser/brake cleaner spray.
