just finished my 1969 New Yorker

Absolutely incredible! I used to think Fuselage C Bodies were fugly. Now cars like this have me doing a complete 180. I would love to own a 69-70 Chrysler ! This post really makes me want to finish my own 68 project similar to this! She's in pieces now but I'm waiting on my dashboard to be...

Polara is listed for 65-68, and Plymouth is also listed for 65-70. No specific Chrysler listing, however. Give them a call and ask is my advice. The springs are different part numbers between the makes in the parts book, so that is t much help.

I concur, neat looking car. In one of the "right" colors, too. In the 1968 Chrysler Parts book I downloaded from www.mymopar.com , using 1968 as a guide, there are only TWO C-body "yokes" for 1968. 22' Radiator "core" or 26" Radiator "core". Which means Plymouth Fury, Dodge Polara/Monaco...

Congrats on some great work. Love the color & looks superb, so sleek without the vinyl top. The little details like the power seats set it apart. Bravo!

WANTED 67' Chrysler 300 Hood Ornament

I know the one that was on my first 68 did have some sort of spring that allowed it did move if you pushed side to side, the one that I bought for this one came off a 66 model and it is rigid, if you try to move it, it will break.

I would be shocked if a Chrysler rad support wound't fit in a Monaco. But then again I'm shocked that your car overheats in Nova Scotia. Hey - did the car originally have a 383? If so why didn't it come with a 26" rad? (can you post the fender tag? Nice car.)

IIRC you may have to stick with '67-'68 Polara or Monaco 26" rad support. Not sure if '67-'68 Fury or Chrysler would work. Others here may have a more definitive answer for you. Good luck and that is a beautiful Monaco you have there.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful comments. This one was a true labor of love, and I really enjoyed it. I don't usually post the cars I restore but I feel the C body Mopar's are some of the most underrated looking cars. I've got a lot of hours in the bodywork and in blocking the...

Will mustang wheels go right on a 1966 fury w/4 1/2" lug spacing without problems.... mustang=4 1/2" also

Remember if you start running spacers you can run into other issues but the most common is not enough wheel stud left to properly tighten you wheel to the hub face causing a safety issue without installing longer studs or using ET style lug nuts. You're always better off finding wheels with the...
