@Furyrama -- also, could you please post photos of the interior (headliner, rear tray, dash, door panels, floors) and the fender tag listing original color and options? That will help evaluate the car.
Most of the valley burned up a few years ago with many many people losing everything. One project they are doing in the area is getting rid of dead cars to reduce fire risk. Even if you bought the property they want the stuff gone.
Yes, new repro from Layson’s. It is in a 1970 Chrysler 300 convertible, and is a close match to the original herringbone pattern. I have a piece of the original mat and the repro is just as thick and heavy.
I hope this is a clearer picture, before the sound deadening was put down. The two red arrows are pointing to two bolt holes at the edge of the floor near the quarter window. That’s where a bracket would bolt to and then the seat belt would bolt to the bracket.
