courtesy lights - bench seat cars?

Not on fender tag but on broadcast sheet IF FACTORY installed. My 68 Newport has dealer intalled rear defoggor, rear speaker and fader button which are not on the broadcast sheet. Just an example. Depending on the model, the light group package may vary. Typically the ignition key light was...

courtesy lights - bench seat cars?

My 68 Fury II 4 door sedan doesn’t have them. My 69 Fury III vert does have them. However, it needs them as there’s no dome light.

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

And in the event anyone is following this thread, but doesn’t play…. This was my logic behind guessing the Milford Proving Grounds based on you clues. Sent via PM: Since you mentioned the bosses suggested you head over to the marketing shoot, I assume you worked for GM. And….. if it was a...

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

Thanks for the game. I have zero idea on how to use mapping tools to solve the problem and really don’t want to learn. I’m enjoying the history and have no problem remaining under my rock. ;^)

courtesy lights - bench seat cars?

Would the light package be on the fender tag? If your car has the map light, glove box light and trunk light, does that mean you have the light package? Or would you also need to have an engine bay light? Did all cars have ignition-key light (dash-mount) ? Were the courtesy lights...

Did you put in new lower ball joints? That and pitman arm are a lot harder to source, and relatively expensive.

Drill out the spot welds, replace bushing with new (split version), bolt together.

1978 Chrysler makes hiss sound and brakes seem soft when applying brakes

If I remember Chrysler had a recall because of complaints of the hiss sound. I worked at a Dodge dealership mid 70's back then. Now this was over 50 years ago and my memory isn't the best. I believe there was a filter/silencer that was inserted where the brake pushrod went thru the firewall. Not...

Where was this Mopar Brochure/Ad Photo shot?

#663. Walter P. Game Three. Car was at the GM Proving Ground in Milford, MI. About 45 miles northwest of GM Headquarters in downtown Detroit. Being private property, none of the digital map tools are able to provide "street view" shots. I cannot tell from the aerial exactly where this car...

courtesy lights - bench seat cars?

I had a 68 VIP. It had courtesy lamps at the kick panels mounted under the dash. And map light. Yes they used the pink and yellow wires. They were an option as part of the light group package. Body is ground so the yellow wire is on the door switch circuit and pink is on the dome lamp/ dimmer...

    68 300 upgrades from stock (cams/heads etc.)

Thanks, appreciate that! There are a couple other fast C bodies on the board, and there were a few on the facebook C body groups too. Most of the fast ones are 65/66 cars, and there is a twin turbo '67 VIP that did Drag Week at least once.
