    Bastardized 1959 "Coronet" build

I think I mentioned an early 60s Imperial stainless targa band to hide the seam. I hadn't thought about it disguising the bump. That's brilliant.. Can someone ID the car above? The bump is almost gone with a little more tweaking. Now I have to get brave enough to cut the roof along the former...

    Got them moved to Fresno!

LOL, I've yet to see a legitimate, professional car hauler pull up with a U-haul trailer. There's a reason for that.

Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

Match the gasket to the old gasket. The 440 will have the larger primary holes in gasket. I lube my gaskets before assembly, keeps the gaskets from tearing if I need to open again. If you take your primary squirted off be careful not to loose the small needle under it. When taking carb apart...

    Name that girl

#2080 Julia Louis-Dreyfus She was recognized by most folks. Saturday Night Live (1985), Seinfeld (1991), and Veep (2010) are her most notable entertainment gigs. Buncha theatrical movies, live action gigs & voice roles in animation as well. Aging well it seems.

440 engine making a noise that sounds like an exhaust leak, but no leak is found

I’m going to level set. Reassemble everything and do a compression check. Then pull the exhaust manifold if compression is ok. Replace oil and go from there

Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

Another question: I have to get my carb resealed, because it leaks gas on the right side(seen from standing before the car looking onto the carb). I've bought this set and now i'am confused because several gaskets are included multiple times. How do I know which one to use? Set is Hygrade 657C...

WANTED Police A/C Cut Off Switch and Bezel

In the mid 70's and up they just used a high pressure cut'out switch that was screwed on the hi pressure freon port on the compressor and just piggy back wired in line on the compressor power wire. No switch inside the car it was automatic I have a couple, I'll get you the part number. They are...

    The Formal Photo Thread

The fact that so far you didn't come across a nice Formal Dodge or Plymouth makes me wonder why. Have they become rarer since I joined the group about six years ago? Some possible explanations: - I don't do Facebook so that's a whole chunk of the internet that I have no information about; -...

    Welcome, GreenGoose68Newport

Thank you. The ‘68 Newport I own was my grandfathers and has a lot of sentimental meaning to me. I’ve had it for over 30 years but only recently running. Very excited to share what I know and learn from others!
