What are you working on today??

Not the parts that are bad, or the rest of the hard-to-find sensor parts needed for it to work. And removing the entire under dash a/c heater unit is a very major pain. All of it must come out to service it. About 10 hours round trip, if all the moon and stars line up just right. They never do...

    Heavy Metal

Great experience for you! I had similar experiences that humbled me early in my career. The dedication and incessant drive for success was incredible. I remember seeing my mentors in at work on the weekends when I had come in briefly to pick something up. Later, I too contracted that bug and...

    Stub frame weight

47 inch torsion bars weigh 20 lbs for the pair. Specifically, the lighest ones (.94 inch diameter) weigh 19.8 and the next size up (.96) weigh 20.4 lbs. The torsion bars will fall out unless the lower control arm is also still on the stub. They're heavy. Fastenal sells C-body stub frames?

    C body 8 3/4 axle question.

So I'm sending a 69 Fury shell off to the crusher tomorrow after years of salvaging sheet metal patches. I wanted to restore the axle for my 69 Polara project. I pulled it out and cleaned off the years of grease and grime to look at the # 2070742 which according to the 8th edition of Galens...

Mopar 8.75 Sure Grip/ Limited Slip rebuild questions

The green bearings are not a "downgrade" as i have stated and shown many, many times before. I drive my car daily, long distance, and harder than most, year round with a big stroker motor and a detroit locking differential, and drag race it frequently with sticky tires. Never a problem. If...

I just checked my Fastenal reciept when I had my 70 Chrysler stub shipped from CA and it was 150 lbs before it was packed on the pallet, if that helps.

my grandfather worked at the Rouge Plant for almost 40 years (1938-1972). I did a tour there with him as a lad circa 1968. a frightening, wonderful place -- even when i didnt understand really what i was seeing. a true modern miracle. my memories of it still vivid nearly 6 decades later...

    Opening the console lid

Maybe one of those wall hanging loops that sticks on and can be easily removed without marring the walls? Just for diagnostic purposes until the broken spring is found and replaced. CBODY67
