Members we haven’t heard from in a while.

Hey y’all. I’ve been busy building guitars and the cars (minus the metric challenger) have been sadly neglected. I finally decided to sell the Imperial and the Polara (both already sold).I have the 300 scheduled for an engine rebuild, brakes, trans, etc. All the things that a car with 100k miles...

Wrong brake booster? Holes dont line up

I would not use a single diaphragm booster with front discs. Disc's require about twice as much PSI as drums do. That is why Mopar upgraded to the dual diaphragm. You could get by with the single but you won't be able to lock the front brakes. There are tons of threads out there dealing with...

Off topic 5.7 Magnum slight lifter noise.

I will also and w/ the mileage indicated a camshaft change may be in order. Scuffed lifter rollers = cam lobe damage.

What heades fit my 1975 Gran Fury?

Man I love that blue! The 408 will be in the future for my first car. The green one I'm just enjoying as a stocker. The other one is not in as good of shape so I don't worry about keeping it stock at all. I would just like to know if anyone has fit headers so I don't waste money on one's that...

Resurrection of my 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Sold to some kid in Colorado Springs who wanted to "Hot Rod" it about 9 years ago. I used to see it parked at the apartment he lived in at the time but it dissapeared a few years later. I have no idea what happened to it.

Power Vent Motor- Anyone ever take one apart??

UPDATE : Removed the motor, opened it, inspected it, put it back together and did a bench test. Nothing looked damaged AT ALL. IT WORKS!!! Plugged it and the switches back in and NOTHING. I'm assuming it's really the switches. I got the window to close manually for now though. I guess it's...

Just get ready to do lifters. It's a hemi issue. The top ends can suffer from insufficient oiling if idling alot.

    Brake booster help

I appreciate your help. I posted on both sites but I figured I’d get a quicker response on Facebook. Sounds like I won’t be driving this today. Bummer I’ve been chasing electrical gremlins all summer solved that and now this. Running out of a nice weather.

1966 Plymouth Fury 2door HT Both doors won't stay open

I was thinking it would take a little ingenuity to get that spring stretched to the arm without having the hinge clamped in a bench vise. Your tool looks to be the ticket. Thank you for sharing.

    Brake booster help

The other option is to order the correct Cardone one (four wheel drums with power brake option), and return the other incorrect Cardone one in the box and get your $ back. Not my way of doing things, but... The incorrect one is a Field Install power brake retrofit unit for manual brake cars...

    Brake booster help

I've been talking with you just now on FB about this. While the backing plate has the dimples for drilling and support, the issue remains with the booster in question about its bolt lengths once the bracket is removed, AND the length of the pedal push rod. Both can have serious consequences if...

Thought that was the spot but didn’t submit my guess. Been by there several times as I attended Cal State Northridge for my undergraduate and Master’s degrees….

    Brake booster help

Hi, I’m looking for some help here. My brake booster went bad. Had a new in the box one that came with the car so I thought I’d use it. The holes do not line up with the firewall plate. Old one was a cardone this new one looks to be a Midland Ross, I could drill holes in the reinforcement plate...
