    Which power steering box for 67 Chrysler from rockauto?

    Might look at the Firm Feel website for rebuilt Chrysler gear boxes. Also the Borgeson website, too. I suspect both can ship to you. You can get new hoses from RockAuto, though. CBODY67

    Now the garage is done, Grace my 67 Monaco 500 finally gets cleaned and tucked inside after being outside 24/7 for 6 months. We have trees which resulted in a dirty vinyl top deep into the grain. Plus dirt and sap all over.

    1967 727 rebuild -> which rockauto parts/set needed?

    Normally, there are three kinds of items. "Frictions" which is clutch friction plates and any bands. "Steels" are the metal plates that go between the friction plates. "Seals" should include all of the rubber and plastic o-rings, gaskets, and seals needed to do the rebuild. You can go a bit...

    1967 727 rebuild -> which rockauto parts/set needed?

Now I will rebuild the transmission, but I am not sure, which set, brand and parts I have to order from rockauto. Do you have any...

    Is my new build doomed because I bought a flat tappet?

    Putting "plenty" of cam break in lube isn't needed. Just put some on there, and only the cam lobes and lifter bases. Don't put it in the lifter bores, sides of lifters, or cam bearing journals. And you don't need any on the cam gear thrust surface. Ues the Driven break in oil is good, and...

    Hello together, I bought my 67 Chrysler a few years ago in a sort of running condition -> Engine runs :) But the automatic transmission has a lot of slip due to driving with less oil -> the car hardly moves...and the rest of the car isn't in good shape, too. I had the car in storage for a few...

    Thanks for the compliment!! Checking with a spark tester in line between the plug wire and the spark plug. Also put a known good plug in the end of the spark plug wire and ground to engine and no spark.

    Driveline noise/drone/vibration

    When you say gear noise, I am assuming gear whine at a certain speed with light throttle? I usually hear most whine at 48-56 then it goes away. I had a customer with a 04 Lincoln town car that whined, we put bearings and a gesr set in, it took quite a bit to get the pattern correct. Upon the...
