just finished my 1969 New Yorker

As everyone has stated in one way or another, the car is beautiful. I feel your pain about blocking the 8 ft quarter panels. One of my favorite photos from my restoration, you can see my "3 ft sanding block" on the top of the quarter panel. I felt like Popeye when I got done...lol

    New to me 69 300 CM27

Mine is the standard 440 but someone changed the cam, put a Carter AVS on it and dual exhaust. I could never imagine trying to race this boat at 4400 lbs. They ran it so hard I'll probably put rings and bearings in it this winter. 10 mpg and a quart of oil every 200 miles haha

Steering wheel wants to turn right while idling, steering gear adustment or front-end alignment?

Good work on correcting the assembly error. Maybe you still have something in incorrectly? I have never disassembled a steering box, but did screw up a valve body reassembly on Elwood, my 68 Plymouth Fury II 4 door sedan with a 904. I re-read the service manual and figured it out. I would...

"mine's bigger than yours!!!!" I love it, when I drive my Monaco, and the only thing longer in the parking lot is a Class A motor home.

The life and times of an upside down 65' Polara.

Nice car, but I'm partial to them. You can get ball joints from A-RESTO-PARTS directly or from Amazon. Just to prove that you are not alone, my 65 Monaco.

Wrecking Yard With 1,000 apps Cars About To Be Crushed - LOTS of Fuselage Cars!

The only e body (to my knowledge) was a 383-4, fc7 1970 Challenger non R/T car. It was wrecked hard. It can be seen in the picture I posted in post #16 ( my yard) and post #20 ( as found). It has the original drive train, fender tag etc. which males for gopd conversation. It will likely be...

Wrecking Yard With 1,000 apps Cars About To Be Crushed - LOTS of Fuselage Cars!

I did not see any ebodies. Did I miss some? Parts sheds like those are where I want to look for the M46 scoops. It appears that the cars do not deteriorate via rust in that location compared to most yard locations across the States.

Wrecking Yard With 1,000 apps Cars About To Be Crushed - LOTS of Fuselage Cars!

The yard is 100 yards off of the paved road. The cars go up the mountain and there are heaps ofarts and other good stuff. If it's worth it to go to of that trouble IDK. The story I got was that the owner was a drag racer/entrepreneur from the Whittier CA area. He owned the local car...

Re: NEED HELP / OR VERIFY --1968 Chrysler -300 in Arlington, NV??

I think it says it was sold here at this Barrett Jackson auction last year (I guess it was in May?). So obviously someone has been trying to flip it for the remainder of last year. https://www.barrett-jackson.com/palm-beach-2023/docket/vehicle/1968-chrysler-300-convertible-267824 It was...
