I may have turned to the dark side...

Ah the allure of something modern: parts are available, and it is reliable (hopefully). All I have to drive is a 1994 Dodge B-150 SWB Van 161,000 miles on it...got it when it was 2 years old. Parts are getting touchy, but I spent at least $4,000.00 on new parts from Dodge when it was newish. I...

I may have turned to the dark side...

My wife had a 2013 GT and me with my 2013 SRT challenger, the GT would give a good run till the wife got over 110, then it was all mine, she liked the quick, but not the long haul. The leg room in the mustang was pretty tight for me but it was a nice ride. We have neither one now. Hyundai sante...

WANTED Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

I see it, thanks. It has the plastic sleeved seat belt, I think the ‘69 was all cloth. I’ve looked through the parts book but can’t find a part number, yet the bracket is clearly pictured in the assembly manual. I might end up making one since bolting the plastic sleeved belt directly to the...

The wear will be felt 12:00 and 6:00 on the yoke to tail shaft, My transmission guy taught me to look at the wear at 10:30/4:30. I have a car here with drive vibe and it is loose at the 12/6 on tail shaft, so thats bad. The trick is to change bushing in car, but tool is pricey. He has offered to...

    66 daily driver

Another day another 120 miles. So far so good running as a daily driver putting an average of 80 to 150 miles a day. The poly 318 gets about 15 or 16 mpg so its not hurting the wallet all that much just thought I'd post an update.

As far as I know, it's good. The yoke seems to fit well. How would you check that?

WANTED Rear Seat Belt Bracket 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible

Thanks Alan, mine is definitely different than what you show. There is no “outboard” bolt hole provision other than the two holes I show in the first pic. After looking through the FSM and the Assembly Manual, I’m thinking that the ‘70 with the bracket is a one year, convertible only piece.

The interchange shows a different bumper. I'll bet you can just move the bumper guards. A downloadable copy of the interchange manual: jholst.net Chrysler 300K Home Page
